Another eagerly awaited addition to our wedding centrepiece range is our
manzanita wedding crystal trees! Each white manzanita tree is hand lovingly
adorned with garlands of crystals and/or pearls. Each tree is then placed on a
mirror plate and scattered with table diamantes. We add 3 glass tea light
holders and candles to each display so the light can reflect in all the tiny

NEW FOR 2012!

The final item to be added to our
2012 vintage inspired wedding range is the hurricane candle display. Each
Hurricane vase centrepiece stands 35cm tall and encases a large pillar candle
surrounded with flower heads. The hurricane candle displays is placed on a
mirror plates and surrounded with tea light candles, diamante scatter and rose
petals for a clean and romantic finish to this simple wedding centrepiece.

This week we have received our new stock of coloured ostrich feathers! As you know we have always stocked Hot Pink Ostrich feathers, Black Ostrich Feathers, White Ostrich Feathers, Dark Green Ostrich Feathers, Baby Blue Ostrich Feathers and Baby Pink Ostrich Feathers but now we have added additional colours!

As from March you can now order Apple Green Ostrich Feathers, Red Ostrich Feathers and Cadbury Purple Ostrich Feathers!!

All of our feather centrepieces are available in choice of 1 or more mixed coloured ostrich fetathers. If your wedding colour is Green why not add a mix of white and green ostrich feathers to your centrepiece to add a splash of colour to your tables!

Origami cranes are a Japanese tradition that has recently been borrowed by
brides of every culture. Some brides have them cascading down from the ceiling
or trees at the wedding venue. While others choose to use them as place cards
holder or just simply scattered about within the decor. These tiny additions add
a lovely touch to any style wedding. But of course Japanese infused weddings
just can not go without these beautiful paper creatures.

 Cranes can be folded in shades of paper that fit in with your wedding colors,
in a rainbow of various hues, or on paper printed with intricate designs.

Japanese folklore reveres the crane as a mystical creature of beauty and
peace. Folklore also goes on to say that a person who folds 1,000 paper cranes
will receive a thousand years of happiness and prosperity. You may yourself not
want to take on this task with all the other things you have to do for the
wedding. Fear not though, because luckily for busy brides the legend also states
that someone may give the gift of a 1,000 paper cranes thereby wishing the
happiness and prosperity on to the recipient. This nimble fingered friend will
not be left out either as they are also to be granted one wish. :)

Wedding ceremonies and receptions take place just about anywhere including hotels, boats, mansions, marinas, gardens, restaurants, scenic locations, and churches. Each area provides ample opportunities for setting the scene and creating a mood with elegant wedding decorations.

First, ask yourselves what style and mood do you both want for your wedding
day. Are you casual, sophisticated or romantic? You may decide you want a
traditional evening wedding ceremony with lots of candles and flowers, or you
may decide on a contemporary setting with silver and white balloons and an ice
sculpture.

Second, it is important to know your budget. This gives you an idea of how
many decorations you can reasonably incorporate into your wedding. Remember
that careful planning is necessary to avoid costly mistakes. If budget is an
issue, choose only two or three wedding decorations or decorating ideas that
really add visual impact.

Third, take several photographs of the site to reference as you read through
the above ideas. Try to imagine where you could use each idea. It will become
clear which decorations will be successful and which ones are unsuitable for
your particular setting.
Consider these items when choosing and creating your wedding decorations:
Colour Scheme, Available Space, Number of Guests, Mood/Theme, Time of year, Location, Family Traditions & Budget!
Keep in mind that locations that are already very festive or decorative may
require less, or even no wedding decorations at all! To save money, have
friends or relatives move your ceremony decorations such as flowers, pew
bows, or candelabras to your reception site.

With a little imagination, you'll be amazed at how easy and affordable it is
to create a unique day that you and your guests will remember for a
lifetime.

Our first new addition is going to be a beautiful hurricane vase display. We have spent the past few days playing around with them and have come up with some fantastic designs! They are such a versatile piece and can be used to display flowers, candles, aqua pearls and even sweeties! We will have 2 different sized hurricane vases, the smaller being 20cm high which will be perfect for simple and elegant table centrepiece ideas and the second being a larger 40cm hurricane vase for more eleborate and trendy centrepieces. Both look amazing in our new vintage inspired wedding range filled with fresh peonies and dusky pink roses with a beautiful pillar candle displayed in the middle! The second addition to our wedding centrepiece collection will be our Vintage Cream Candelabras! We have always stocked silver chrome candelabras and have decided to add the cream candelabras as part of our vintage inspired wedding collection! They are beautifully draped with crystals and diamantes and have 5 arms for candles. They look beautiful wrapped with pink peonies and dusky pink roses entwined with ivy! Candelabras are a perfect winter wedding  centrepiece with a warm romantic ambience created by the glow of candle light. They also create a stunning summer wedding centrepiece with crystals droplets hanging from each arm.

Whats even more exciting is that both of our new additions will be available to hire as part of our all inclusive wedding decoration packages!
