After setting up at the church I drove across to Clayton Crown Hotel to set up ready for the Wedding Breakfast ahead of the guests arrival. The bride and groom had chosen white, blush pink and burgundy for their styling. I used coordinated tablecloths and napkins, with chair covers, satin sashes, and table runners. The clients wanted their own design of centrepiece so these I designed and made these exclusively for this wedding. My flower bar backdrop framed the top table and the bride and groom throne chairs were the final piece of the top table design. The cake table had a luscious flower wall backdrop and a matching swag and lastly a mirrored flower frame table plan on ornate wedding easel and matching welcome sign to greet the guests upon their arrival to the venue.

Today we had so much fun executing the design specification we received for a Mendhi party! The groom to be came to us with orange and green as the theme and told us to run with it from there!
We used a black satin backdrop draped with green and orange and splashed with mood lighting from uplighters and light nets for the Mehndi Stage. On the tables we recreated the palms from a picture we had seen on his inspiration board using fresh Phoenix Palms and orange illuminated gel vases. The contrast of black linens, black chair covers and double tied sashes meant the bold colours complimented each other beautifully without overpowering each other! We finished the room by using a black entrance carpet for the families to make their way from the venue entrance to the Mehndi stage when they arrived! The family were blown away with the end result and loved the finished look! Everything about today's wedding at Hylands House Excubes Disney princess as was the theme of the day! We decorated Hylands House Pavilion using blush pinks and pale silvers using sashes on the chiavari chairs, pale pink table swags with splashes of silver in the bows. The bride and groom chairs we created our own Chiavari Chair design perfectly fit for a princess and her groom! Miniature bubble vases filled with silk flowers were positioned across the Sweetheart Table and a stunning twinkle starlight backdrop behind it. For the table centrepieces we used our extra large conic vase displays with silk flower balls in ivories and whites with martini vases and matching flowers on alternating tables. We also handcrafted the wedding place cards in white and blush pink.
I absolutely loved working on this clients Mehndi with them, they were looking for something outside the box and looking for a unique theme but using their traditional family colours of orange and green! We used fresh foliage palms in illuminated vases for the table decor, black tablecloths and black chair covers, then a black carpet leading to a stage with a focal point backdrop in green and orange drapes splashed in mood lighting!
